Fartcoin Soars Past $1, Overtakes Bonk as Market Cap Rockets Above $1 Billion

FARTCOIN $1

The memecoin mania just hit a new level as Fartcoin (FARTCOIN) blasted past the critical $1 psychological resistance, recording a powerful 21% surge in the last 24 hours. As of press time, Fartcoin is trading at $1.06, with its market cap smashing through $1 billion, officially overtaking Bonk (BONK), which lags behind at around $980 million.

This breakout comes as no surprise to chart-watchers. After weeks of consolidating in the $0.40–$0.55 range from March 29 to April 9, Fartcoin ignited its rally with a high-volume breakout on April 9, pushing the price to an intraday high of $0.78. The rally didn’t stop there — momentum carried the token to $0.97 by April 11, followed by a short consolidation phase before resuming its surge.

Now trading well above both its 20-day EMA and 50-day SMA, Fartcoin’s trend is undeniably bullish. With traders eyeing $1.20–$1.25 as the next logical target, some caution is warranted: the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is nearing 70, indicating a potential pullback may be on the horizon.

Meanwhile, Bonk (BONK) has slipped slightly and continues to range between $0.0000095 and $0.0000138, showing a far less explosive momentum profile. Although BONK’s price is consolidating near the top of this range and its moving averages are lining up for a potential bullish crossover, trading volume remains muted compared to its March peaks. A confirmed breakout will need a strong daily close above $0.0000138 with rising volume, targeting the $0.000015 level, which has proven to be tough resistance in the past.

As Fartcoin continues its climb and asserts itself as a serious memecoin contender, all eyes are on whether it can sustain this parabolic momentum — or if a correction is just around the corner.
